Lego Iron Man,
and Lego Batman

The people at LEGO® have given us many adaptations of our favorite characters in their patented brick form. So who would win if their versions of the two teched out superhero billionaires battled it to the studs? That's what this blog is here to find out.

Before We Start

While I will give a full set of sources at the end of the blog, I must give a huge load of credit towards Blogator Blog's Lego Adaptation Battle Royale Blog, as it allowed me to significantly cut down on research time for Lego Batman in particular. Whilst I still had to find a lot of stuff on my own, their blog gave good insight on a large amount of Lego Batman's stuff, as well as had some links I re-used here (although I did mostly try to get my own links). A big thanks goes out from me to them.

It is quite blatant that these guys have SEVERAL versions across a ton of different mediums. But while most of said different mediums technically do have distinguished canons, there isn't really a "main" canon for either. And given the fact this is a pretty silly and dumb fun matchup, there is no reason to try and limit what will be used for either. So every version of Lego Iron Man and Batman (whether it be sets, games, movies, ect) will be used here. This is of course besides any one that's taken up the mantles besides Tony Stark and Bruce Wayne.

Although, despite the wide usage of sources, the Lego encyclopedias and handbooks will not be used at the are infamously inaccurate. Meaning any possible unique info could just be wrong, even within the context of a composite. And Fortnite will not be used be it's....boring and gives them both the same stuff :p.

Lastly, for the circumstances of this fight, we'll be assuming that these guys are equivalent to humans (meaning their feats won't be boiled down to "they're destroying Lego pieces!" for example). With that being said, let's get into it.

Background

Lego Iron Man

Young Lego Tony Stark inherited the intelligence and business of his late father, Lego Howard Stark.
Billionaire, philanthropist, playboy, he had it all. Backing his unmovable ego, his sales of arms to the U.S. Government afforded him millions of studs worth of wealth. Unfortunately by life-changingly for the business man, he would be kidnapped by terrorists in a villainous attempt to get him to make a weapon of mass destruction for them. And while he did make a weapon, it was nothing of use to his kidnappers. It was a powerful suit of armor that let Lego Tony not only escape his tormentors, but become the Invincible Iron Man!

As Lego Iron Man, Tony would function as an intelligent and charismatic superhero to the massess. Being a founding Avenger and team leader, he'd work alongside numerous superheroes across the years. His tech and battle strategy making him a formidable opponent to several villains. The likes of Lego Thanos, Lego Dr. Doom, and the planet-devouring Lego Galactus.

He may of not been a great person from the beginning, but through his heroic years his heroism shined while his ego simmered out, making him slowly more and more of the fantastic man he was always meant to be. With or without his armor, Tony puts his good will and well crafted mind to the use of the people and friends that need him. He is the man with a plan, and all the inspiring greatness to act on it.

Lego Batman

Just like any good Batman, Lego Batman went through the origin any good Batman has. He and his parents would go a dark alleyway, where he would witness the murder of his parents. From there, he would train with the League Of Assassins in his pursuit to become a symbol for Gotham. Inspired by a childhood memory of a scare from a colony of bats, he would adopt the mantle of Batman! Unlike many other Batman's though, this Batman would not become as dark and mysterious, instead being a much more unserious but still feared Dark Knight. Making many friends in the form of over superheroes as well as other soon to be Batfamily members and even just normal Lego people.

His combat training combined with a great detective mind would allow him to be a seeping thorn in the side of criminals street level and even cosmic in proportion. Stopping characters as lowly as Mad Hatter and Killer Moth, to the likes of Darkseid and Brainiac. Despite his more kind and humorous demeanor, he would still be troubled by a seeping ego and self hate. But eventually, through the love of his friends and family, he would overcome it.

He has been to other cities, space, and even alternative dimensions. But no matter where he is, he does not stop the fight for truth and justice. He is the lingering force criminals all over the universe fear and despise. He is vengeance, he is the night. He is....AWESOME!

Skill & Experience

Lego Iron Man

Lego Iron Man just like his other versions has of course shown great prowess with tech, not only through his suits that he built, but also through the fact he is both able to hack/mess with tech via terminals, and repair things in seconds. He also, just like any Lego builder, can make complex structures and machinery out of bits and pieces. This is not to say he is purely an intellectual though, as he has shown quite a high battle IQ as well. Obviously in game you can fight enemies just as Tony, but he also more directly shows quick thinking and strategic thinking in his fights. Even while in his armor he still shows this high battle IQ, fighting with quick and acrobatic attacks and fast moving grapples and punches. His fluidity and acrobaticness in the armor is supported by him being somehow able to back and front flip in it. On top of this all, he is of course, a self-described "Billionare, genius, playboy, philanthropist."

Lego Batman

Lego Batman has been operating and fighting bad guys for several years consistently throughout the various versions of himself. This experience gives him a lot of skill in battle, capable enough to defeat his entire rogues gallery in a couple minutes WHILE SINGING. This is explained by his long and intense training from the League Of Shadows; where he learned stealth and how to use his shurikens (and later batarangs) as distractions. And his additional training with ninjas, african bushmen, and Nepalese monks. He has shown specialized techniques from this training as well, such as the vibrating palm technique that increases his attacking power. He has also shown very capable in using his gadgets, having high precision both with his batarangs and grappling hook, able to throw several of the former at once. His physical capabilities and experience even, for some reason, give him the know how on how to surf on sharks. His body isn't his best aspect though, as that would be his impeccable mind. Known as the "World's Greatest Detective", Lego Batman is said to be one of the smartest men in the world. Able to easily hack technology, defuse a thermo-nuclear warhead, and analyze and differentiate chemical compounds. When bored or down he has shown to play guitar well and even beatbox. To hide all this skill, he can pass himself as an entirely different person, able to perfectly mimic their voice and craft a perfect costume that looks like them.

Equipment

Lego Iron Man

Standard Armors

Lego Iron Man has numerous "standard" armors he has used that he can put on at any time. They are able to shoot rockets, lasers, repulsor blasts and chest beams to attack enemies. His rockets in particular being able to also be deployed quickly from his back. His repulsor blasts can be shot in pairs from each hand, his lasers are hot enough to cut through and melt gold as well as weld metal together, and his rockets are powerful enough to shatter metal objects. For some reason his lasers also have the capability to repair objects (although Lego Tony can do this without it as well). If he needs to track an opponent, he can detect them from miles away and even through walls using the sensors in his helmet. Similary his sensors have been used to detect things within the environment that Lego Iron Man can use to his advantage as well as scan objects to find similar/indentical objects around him. His scanners can even uncover things that are invisible. This is not to say all his built-in tech within his simply for direct confrontation or tracking, as if he needs defense he can manifest a large shield to protect himself in times of need. For underwater ventures, he has lights alongside his armor's protection to allow him to act under there. And if he wants to make a fight more captivating, he can blast music loud enough to make everyone in a fight hear it.

Alternative Armors

Obviously Iron Man has a gigantic amount of armors just like the movies and comics, over 50 infact. He can remotely access and call upon them via a hud even without an armor on already and they can function on their own as well, able to passively fight for Tony on their own for extended periods of time, able to be summoned upon via the House Party Protocol. They also can act as just one piece of the armor. The ones listed will be armors that notable qualties outside of the ones had by his standard armors.

Motorcycle

Iron Man goes out of his way to beat up homeless Hulk (4K Ultra HD)

Cars

Iron Man has had many cars like any good rich person. The one above comes equipped with side turrets that shoot his titular repulsor blasts, but he has had some other cars of note. He has a sleek firey car that has side mounted guns and a micro car that he can use for proficient road rage.

Boats

Good for easily traversing water. Iron Man has access to numerous boats. One is designed to track enemies and nearby vehicles.

Jets

Why does a superhero whose most iconic trait is having a flying super-suit need so many forms of transport? Who knows! The only real thing of note about these is that the Quinjet specifically can go into stealth mode, making it untrackable.

Lego Video Game Vehicles

If you thought he didn't have enough pointless vehicles, he got a SHIT TON more from the video games. Of which he can spawn in at any time or at S.H.I.E.L.D. terminals throughout the city. That being said, this list is limited to what he can actually have spawned in. Not vehicles that can only be used at certain places/levels.

Signal Blockers

It is implied he has some type of signal blocker, that can, obviously, block out specific signals. Although they are unable to block Ultron's control signals.

Bowling Ball

He's a great bowler.

Cage

Dumb-E

Can shoot out flames but just as easily put them out with a fire extinguisher.

Air Missiles

Can be remotely fired from space from an essentially infinite supply of them. While likely lethal to others, they were used to incapacitate the Hulk in game.

Holographic Phone

A see-through phone that can take pictures.

Master Control Console

This nifty (and heavy) invention can completely control the weather. Via it's connection to Stark weather towers across the world, it can make snow storms, rain storms, and several other types of weather in meer seconds. Its snow storms are cold enough to quickly freeze objects in ice, tornados strong enough to move around cows and vans, and sand storms potent enough to enswirl large amounts of sand and objects into it.

Repair Station

Lego Iron Man has what seems to be some sort of implied repair/clean up station he can use mid-battle if needed.

Iron Legion

Iron Man's helpful AI troops. These innocent guys help out where they can. Whether it be trying to help fleeing citizens, or play in a baseball game, they're good support Tony can utlize for non-violent purposes. Although they have been hacked, which makes them dangerous and violent towards the Avengers. Including Lego Iron Man.

Dynamite

Tony can throw an essentially limitless supply of dynamite.

Oxygen Mask

Lets Lego Tony breathe underwater.

Cosmic Cube

While we don't see Tony use it directly, he does have it after defeating Loki in the Lego Iron Man flash game. In terms of its capabilities, it works very similar to how it does in the films. It can shoot powerful blasts, and make portals to and from across the universe (although it can also be used to more simply transport people and things at the thought). It also has some qualities unique to Lego. It has telekinesis powerful enough to move jets, forcefield creation that makes a forcefield capable enough to deflect and re-direct attacks, and reality warping?! Yeah, weirdly enough, Loki when he had it was shown to use the cosmic cube to literally shapeshift people and objects with a blast. In the same ad, he was also able to create objects out of thin air like a banana to make someone slip.

Disguise

An impossible to see through and incredibly effective disguise. Being that of a mustache and glasses that totally completely change how Lego Tony looks. Totally.

Welding Equipment

Lego Iron Man has a welder and welding mask to weld things back together.

The Infinity Stones

In Lego Marvel Superheroes 2, characters in the game can use all six Infinity Stones without their negative side effects. Additionally, Iron Man technically has the Infinity Gauntlet stored away in Avengers Tower if he wanted to use all their powers at once.

Lego Batman

Primary Super-Suit

Within this seemingly normal Bat-themed hero costume stores a mariad of functions and utilities. Besides for branding, its symbol is surrounded by triple-weave Kevlar for extra protection. The overall suit is capable of invisibility and is bulletproof as well as resistant to fire. The cape is weighted for gliding and the cowl allows for night vision, thermal vision, x-ray vision, UV vision, and zoom in vision. The cowl is additionally lined with lead to prevent Superman from knowing his identity. If he needs to use the Batcomputer without being in the Batcave or using other gadgets, he can directly communicate with it through his cowel. His cowl also weirdly has the capability to play music, and, even odder, take faxes (I don't have a clip for this but GOTTA trust me it can). As cautionary measures go, it can activate an escape balloon to carry Lego Batman high up into the sky, and shock enemies to try to touch the suit. On top of all that it can uncover dark areas via illuminating them.

Alternative Super-Suits

Just like Lego Iron Man, Batman has a plethora of suits at his disposal. While he initially had to go to specific terminals to swap to them, he later became able to swap to them at any moment with ease. Also just like Lego Iron Man, a good chunk of them aren't particularly useful nor unique. So I'll just be mentioning the important ones.
Utility-Belt

This expansive belt gives Lego Batman access to a large array of gadgets to use as he pleases. Basically acting as a infinite storage hammerspace. It also can be used to call upon both the Batmobile and the Batwing.
Batmobile

What would Batman be without his ever so useful Batmobile? It not only helps with transport, as it can boost at high speeds as well as well as being able to turn into a smaller car, motorcycle, and jet, and a higher elevation version, but it also has many attack options. It can shoot bullets, sniper rounds, gold destroying lasers, rockets, and even blast off its own roof. If Lego Batman wants to access his personal files, it has a hidden away miniature Batcomputer on its back. Incase Lego Batman is not around to operate and defend it, it has built-in defense systems that create a potent forcefield around it and can has an autopilot that lets it drive itself. Implied in an ad, the Batmobile also has shields, sonar rockets, all-wheel drive, bulletproof paneling, grappling hooks, and roll bars. Quite a mighty selection of utility for one car.

Micro Batmobile

A very compact Batmobile. The only real advantage is its smaller size.

Tumbler

A large emposing tank-like version of the Batmobile. For stopping opposing vehicles in their tracks, it can shoot a long (easily cuttable) cable. And for getting rid of obstacles, it can blow them to bits with rockets, or use the turrets on its frontside for smaller objects. I times of trouble, it can deploy the Batpod from its front side.

The Dragster

An extremely odd but useable enough vehicle for the Batman. It has a rocket launcher and can keep up with Catwoman's motorcycle.

Batcycle

Despite being small and sleak, this cycle still packs a punch. It has torpedos and guns to wipe out foes. If it needs to make a pitstop, it has a kickstand to keep it still.

Batpod

Coming from the Tumbler, this version of the typical Batcycle is quite useful. It has rockets for destroying nearby objects and its own grappling hook.

Batbike

A small but oddly super strong bike? It has launchers which you'd think would just be weak rockets, but actually shoot blasts strong enough to destroy the Batmobile.

Batbuggy

Another odd vehicle for Lego Batman. It has turrets on the sides, as well as a harpoon launcher and powerful back-thruster.

Bat Mobile

Apparently, Lego Batman got into the mobile home buisness. Jokes aside, carries a mariad of different things within itself that will be listed here:

Knightcrawler

R.I.P. Nightcrawler in Rivals Season 10.5
A big awesome thing-ma-watsit. It has minigun turrets and big stomping wheels.

The Scuttler

A massive and bold spider-like vehicle that towers over his enemies. It can launch a net to catch foes, transform into a jet, and even has a back component for shooting opponents behind it.

Bat-Tank

Lego Batman can't help but one up himself. The Tumbler and Scuttler don't compare in power to the Battank! It has missiles galore, a front-sided turret, and a fucking battering ram that shatters other vehicles to pieces. Safe to say that those weapons combined with secure tire straps and a hard protective exterior makes this hard to beat on the road.

Batwing

A high-soaring flying vehicle Lego Batman uses for aerial battles and chase. It has a map for him to look at if needed, and snacks to munch on. Yum! In terms of weaponry, it has large quick-firing turrets on its front, a cannon, and torpedos it can launch for big explosions. If he wants to target enemies with better accuracy, he can lock on to their position and attack from there. And if he wants to capture them, he has a deployable net. If he ever decides he wants to leave the Batwing in style, it has a dedicated eject button.

Batcopter

While it isn't as high speed, it is still good for air attack. It is equipped with turrets, and missiles for direct attacks, and a tow hook that can pick up specialized hover mines that destroy silver.

Micro Batcopter

YOOOOOOOO ITS KILLER MOTH HELL YEAH!!!!!!
Oh and I guess that lame useless ass Batcopter is there too.

The Bat

An imposing aerial, almost tank-like vehicle that has both missile launchers on the front, a line to grab onto and drop from, and powerful jet engines.

Flying Fox

A big  multi-seated vehicle that acts as transport for the Justice League, but mostly the Batmobile contained within it. Although, it can fire its own blasts, lasers, and bullets if the rider wants to attack with it.

Batblade

A personal favorite Lego Batman vehicle of mine. It has a flamethrower nose, laser cannons, and skis that make it glide across icey terrain. To better utilize its many weapons, it has a pinpoint targeting system.

Bat-Rocket

Bat Jetski
Has an oxygen mask and torpedos.

Batboat

Lego Batman has had many variations of the Batboat over the decades but the general idea stays the same. It's highly capable in the water, able to both detect oncoming attacks as well as boost around and attack back. This also plays into its escape route, as it has a speedboat behind the cockpit that lets Lego Batman escape with another water vehicle if needed. Additonally it has lights and a hovercraft skirt that helps it float.

Batsubmarine

Designed for deep underwater travel, its bubble cockpit lets him breathe down in the depths. It has thrusters for higher underwater speed, miniature claws that can grab things, as well as blasters and torpedos as weapons.

Batmech

Lego Batman has had many Batmechs, the newer variation is more simple with only a turret on its wrist, whilst older verisons had a Bat-signal, a net, a saw, blasters, and leg-thrusters.

Miniature Batmech

A much smaller mech that it just as versatile. It not only can fire batarangs at 237 km/h, but has lights to free up darkness, a batarang controller, and a rotating blaster that shoots several types of ammunition. Whether it be standard gunfire, water, or milk. It has two seperate modes as well, that being pursuit mode and aiming mode.

Lego Video Game Vehicles

Just like Lego Iron Man, Lego Batman has tons of vehicles from the games. The vehicles from Lego Dimensions specifically can be upgraded to enhance their speed, weapons, power, extras, and colors. Also just like Lego Iron Man, he can spawn them via panels, through portals, or even out of thin air at his convenience. They can also respawn. Whilst I will simply linking a video/page that give insite on abilities for the vehicles, super important ones will have their capabilities listed in text as well. That being said, I'll be sorting them by ground, air, and water vehicles, aside from Lego Dimensions, which I'll be listing by Season instead.

Misc. Vehicles

A couple of vehicles we don't see really get used but sure do exist.
Batglider

Not very useful considering his several forms of gliding and flight, but can come equipped with jet-thrusters or control handles to better its usefulness.

Double-Edged Sword

Not something you would expect from Lego Batman, but he quite gracefully uses a sword in combat, even able to throw it like a batarang.

Batfishing Rod

This will be used to diff Lego Iron Man trust.

Batcomputer

Accessible through various different means, it provides tons of uses for Lego Batman. Able to use it to:
Batmegaphone

Keystones

A set of eight specialized relics that all have unique capabilities. They can be accessed via easily replicatable builds that summon them in for use
Octo-Arms

Comes equipped with four mechanical arms, each of which hold a different item. A batarang, grapple hook, wrench, and saw. Lego Marvel should sue.

Batjetpack

A sleek and compact jetpack that can quickly maneuver Lego Batman through the air.

BatVR Headsets

Having one for himself and another person, it puts whoever has one on into a Bat-mersive Virtual Reality experience that he can control.

Red Bricks

There are a metric fuck ton of red bricks Lego Batman has used, but there are really on three distinguished ones I wanted to mention. It is worth to mention that red bricks can be turned on and off at any time.
Kryptonite

Incase of Kryptonian threats, Lego Batman has a metric fuck ton of Kryptonite stored away in his Batcave.

Rocket Pack

Has four big thrusters for THRUSTING Lego Batman into battle. Buh dumb tits 🥁.

Batdrone

Shuriken

Before the Batarang, Lego Bruce used a shuriken.

Lantern Rings

Due to his abdominal will and inspiring of fear in his enemies, Lego Batman has both utilized both green, yellow and black lantern rings. They allow him to use all the standard lantern conventions, flight, enery blasts, teleportation, laser projection, and contruct creation. These constructs can take any form the user chooses, making them very versatile. Whether it be jack hammers, giant weights, protective shields, or even sentient lifeforms strong enough to tackle with skilled superheroes.

Excalibur

The well known Excalibur sword is surprisingly something Lego Batman has access too within Lego Dimensions. It can deflect lasers, break walls, and use sword switches.

Lego Dimensions Gadgets

The other side to Lego Dimensions' interactive non-character toys, the gadgets! They can be summoned through portals at the beholders convenience and upgraded to become more powerful.
Phantom Zone Projector

This bright red gun sends whoever it hits straight to the Phantom Zone. A dangerous space jail housing the most dangerous villains of all time. Once in the Phantom Zone, whoever has been sent there will be scanned for badness, with those deemed heroic not being accepted into the Phantom Zone. The Projector itself also has settings for who to release and capture.

Batbrick Separator

A large orange bar Lego Batman can hide away in his costume....without his utility belt....somehow. Anyway, it works by grasping and pulling apart Lego bricks.

Abilities

Lego Iron Man

Lego Physiology
Lego Iron Man's Lego Physiology makes him almost cartoonish in his survivability. This is through the fact that other Lego Marvel characters have shown able to survive being crushed to point of being as thin as paper and have themselves rebuilt from their bits and pieces.

Fourth-Wall Awareness

It has been very consistently shown throughout Lego Marvel that characters have the capability to break the Fourth Wall. Whether it be more significant characters like Thanos, or average joes that directly talk to the viewer and reference the fact there are “main characters”. This isn't even an out of the question thing either, as Lego She-Hulk directly indicates that it's just a bit she owns which is why others don't do it. Interestingly, while this may be exclusive to their use of the power, Lego She-Hulk and Lego Deadpool are directly shown to be able to interact with and see the credits and borders of the streaming service they're on.

Respawning

A trademark Lego game ability. Whenever a Lego character dies, they revive, regenerating their entire body at the last safe place they were at. While it may be considered a game mechanic, Lego Iron Man directly acknowledges the fact he respawned after it happens. Meaning it's likely more.

Building

While he technically isn't a “Master Builder” he still is notably extremely capable of building very complex objects in extremely short amounts of time, such as building an entire Hulkbuster armor in 2 seconds (above). Additionally, him and characters comparable to him can move at increased speeds to build objects. Increasing the efficiency at which they build.

Paint Manipulation

Lego Batman

Detect

Even without his various forms of scanning via tech, Lego Batman can scan for enemies, objects, and other miscellaneous things within his environment.

Teleportation

He has shown capable of just….teleporting at a whim. Like when he teleported back from an asteriod belt in no-time. Similarly Talia Al Ghul, who took the same training as Batman, can essentially do the same, backing up his teleporting capabilities. If this isn't enough, he also pretty blatantly teleports in Lego Dimensions (above) and earlier in the Lego Movie where he is seen falling down several feat away just to reappear in an entirely different place seconds later.

Fourth-Wall Awareness

A peculiarly consistent capability of Lego Batman is him breaking the fourth wall. He has acknowledged the medium he is in while talking to the viewer (above) and talked about real life toys and brands.

Lego Physiology

Lego Batman, despite being able to walk and talk, is made of plastic. Proven through both his ability to reattach limbs and through the lore of the Lego Movies. The plastic is specifically ABS Plastic. ABS Plastic is well known for impact resistance and toughness, being very rigid and non-malleable. It also releases toxic fumes when melting.

The Forbidden Move

Respawning

Like said previously, a very common Lego ability that other characters, and Lego Batman himself, acknowledging his death, indicating it's canon. Additonally, Lego Gandalf (who is in a game and entire story with Lego Batman) literally says in response to his respawn: "I have been reborn! Again!"

Toon-Force

Lego Batman is perhaps one of the most cartoonish Lego characters. At least in what he can do. From more mundane stuff like being able to hang upside down and zip back up without hanging onto anything, to more wacky stuff like being able to instantaneously swap into any outfit he pleases, and contort his body and suit in impossible ways.

Fog-Manipulation

Purely for aura farming purposes.

Master-Building

Whilst not extremely well shown off by him specifically, Lego Batman has been well indicated to be a master builder, even attending their meetings. While normal builders are still impressive, master builders can build things much quicker. This is because they straight up see the environment differently, able to easily identify and see in glow parts needed for their builds.

Mind-Manipulation

Via a short ritual, master builders can enter another persons mind. Exploring their thoughts and memories, while leaving their bodies in the real world.

Vampirism

A form he can casually swap to via it being as a “costume” in Legacy Of The Dark Knight, Lego Batman can become a vampire. As a vampire, he sleeps during the day, and can fly.

Batarang Projection

If he doesn't have any on hand, he can simply shoot them from his hands!

Broadway-Force

Counterintuitive to Lego Batman's brooding persona, he and other Lego characters have participated in many a dance number. With them being referenced to be actual things in canon. Considering Lego Batman has been in these dance numbers many times himself, there is no reason to believe he shouldn't possess the similar if not the same capabilities as other characters who also have. That being said, the capabilities of these broadway-esc song and dances are anything but limited. Whilst singing, characters can remove and move around objects nearby, create new objects and warp the scenery, and even go so far as to teleport others between locations in a flash. And if the singers are dedicated enough, a song that's only a couple minutes long be sang for hours.

Upgrades

While he may be awesome, a good superhero always has room to improve. Thus, he has a whole list of upgrades to amp his physical capabilities
  • Critical Hits - Time your hits perfectly to deal Critical hits, dealing extra damage to enemies and gaining focus.
  • Big Hearted - All Heart pickups picked up with be Big Hearts. Hearts are dropped when Brutes are defeated and when you perform a focus takedown.

  • Speedy Stud Combo - Stud Combo Meter will fill faster.

Resistances

Lego Iron Man

Lego Batman

Weaknesses

Lego Iron Man

While his armors are very technologically impressive, they have quite a few flaws. For one, they have been hacked by others. Even via physical means. They are also quite obviously weak to any forms of magnetism that can manipulate them. Although he has made his armor resistant to magnetism on certain occasions. His transmissions can be disrupted if he's hit, and specialized equipment like Hyperfuel can disrupt and destroy his armor whilst freezing enough temperatures can slowly shutdown his armor. Besides his armors, a mortal lego figure, he very much is not resistant to having his mind messed with. He also has a gigantic ego.

Lego Batman

Being plastic may be fantastic in some ways, un other ways it's a disadvantage. Over time sunlight and UV radiation can discolor Lego Batman's ABS plastic body and make it brittle. His ABS plastic body is also easily flammable, having low resistance to heat and a melting point of 392-464 degrees Fahrenheit. Even though he is a specimen of a Lego figure, he is very reliant on gadgets. Without them his capabilities are pretty heavily diminished.
His personality and mind are very imperfect as well, as he has very large trust issues which make him act somewhat irrationally. This is not helped by the fact he does have a bit of an ego, which can be used against him to manipulate him. While he may come off as a dark and edgy guy in his entirety, even denying his fears, he is scared of snakes, clowns, snakeclowns, and....being part of a family again, which also plays into his fear of them being hurt. Lastly, while not very relevant, he broods very loudly.

Scaling

Lego Iron Man

Superheroes

Iron Man normally should be around the same level as most other superheroes he surrounds himself with. With his Hulkbuster armor he should be as strong as characters like Hulk and Thor, and with his Mark 40 armor he should be as fast as the many speedsters of the lego realm.
Lego Spider-Man:
Lego Captain America:
Lego Thor:
Lego Hulk:

Through the same means as his scaling to superheroes, he should reasonably scale to the supervillains. Especially considering even “lower tier” heroes such as Spider-Man can defeat powerful villains like Dr. Doom, and Iron Man himself alongside Captain America were shown able to injure Thanos. On top of all this, the big bad of the original Lego Marvel Superheroes video game, Galactus was able to be hurt badly by Hulk and Thor as well as by the Thing in an ad. While the scaling to Galactus is debatable (check Before Verdicts), it is very clear he should scale to the others.
Lego Loki:
Lego Thanos:
Lego Venom:
Galactus: [Debatable, see before verdicts]
Misc. Supervillains:

Lego Batman

Superheroes

Given he is generally depicted to be comparable to the non-kryptonian superheroes, he should reasonably scale to their feats with the exception of the Flash's and other similar speedster's speed for obvious reasons. While this may seem questionable at first, it is pretty consistent. With him being capable of harming Larfleeze and Sinestro's constructs. Both of which are capable of harming and contesting Green Lantern. This is consistent, as generally Batman is only really shown to be weaker than Superman directly (who is the only character he is shown to need a special suit for). Although, with this suit, he is not hurt by Superman, so he should be comparable in power to higher tier characters with it. Additionally his Batplane has shown able to keep up with Superman so he should be able to keep up in speed using it.
Lego Superman:
Heroic Lego Lanterns:
Lego Robin

Batman's many rogues are people that he should quite easily upscale given he beat them all in one scene. Even outside of his “regulars”, he has made short work of Gorilla Grodd and has even fought toe-to-toe with Sinestro. Although, it is notable that he can blatantly not injure higher tier villains such as General Zod and Brainiac.
Lego Joker & Scarecrow:
Lego Bane:
Lego Gorilla Grodd:
Misc. Supervillains:
Ninjago Verse

Batman is generally comparable to them within Lego Dimensions (although, those versions are considered non-canon to the show), but more importantly he is a master builder just like Lloyd who is indicated to be the one from the Ninjago Movie through his appearance in other Lego Movie media. Thus, he should scale to the Film versions of Ninjago characters and I guess technically the Dimensions versions as well.
Misc. Lego Characters

Should be relative to the many Lego characters he encounters considering he is a master builder amongst them and is consistently relative or above the ones he fights.

Why No Spider-Society Scaling?

Any keen-eyed readers may have noticed that I decided to not include any scaling to other Spider-Society members. And that is for good reason. While yes, Miguel does say Lego Spider-Man is one of the Spider-Society's best members, there are several flaws in using this for scaling.
1. It could just be a kind encouraging compliment rather than a statement of fact.
2. No reason to believe that him being one of their best means he's the strongest.
3. The fact Miguel said this directly after Lego Spider-Man spotted an anomaly more indicates that he is very good at spotting anomalies (a Spider-Society members main job) rather than anything else.
So long story short, yeah there is no reason to use this vague statement for scaling.

Using An MCU Calc?

While MCU calcs have generally been avoided due to differences in context, uses of surface area, and opposing pixel scaling for heights, this feat has a calc from the MCU utilized. So is that valid? Almost, but sadly no. If you look at the original MCU feat, and the Lego version, they are basically identical outside of the Lego version having an explosion, which would actually make it even more powerful. But the problem is that the calced feat utilizes Sokovia's canon size from the Wakanda Files. The problem with this is that there is no reason to believe those measurements would apply to the Lego version. So you can't reasonably use this without a heavy asterisk.

City-Leveling Durability?!

Within the scaling for Lego Iron Man lays a feat so far beyond anything else any non-High-Tier Lego Marvel characters have been shown capable of, alongside just being questionable in the first place, that it needs to be addressed. And that would be the feat where Venom survives the power of a reactor that was stated to be capable of destroying the city with its power. There are a couple questions when it comes to this which I will address one-by-one.

1. Is the reactor actually that powerful?
This is the biggest question when it comes to this feat. With the answer being yes. Not only is it stated that the reactor's power was "destroying the city" near the end of the episode, but it is stated several times throughout it. Specifically that its power is high enough to "overload and meltdown the city". That wording in particular is notable as it plays into the next question.

2. Did Venom actually tank the full blast?
This may seem like a good critique of the feat at first glance, since, despite what Spider-Man says, the actual blast isn't particularly powerful when looked at from face value. But that's just it, face value. As they say right before Venom is hit away, that the reactor is overloading, with it siphoning all its power back into itself. This is why the wording is important, as this means it should be blasting with full power (since its city-destroying capability directly comes from overloading and melting down the city). And for why it doesn't cause anything massive destruction wise, we see its power trail off and directly flow into Venom, causing him to be blasted away. Not only explaining why it doesn't blow up the platform like Spider-Man says it would, but also meaning that Venom withstood the full yield of its power.

3. Is the blast nuclear?
Yeah so the calc linked says that the city leveling would be 3.4 gigatons of tnt, or 6.8 gigatons of tnt if it was nuclear. Obviously, since this is a nuclear reactor that literally causes a meltdown, this should be on the higher level of 6.8 gigatons of tnt easily.

Why Are Some Laser-Dodging Feats Not Counted?

Without context, the seeming inconsistent use of laser-dodging feats may seem highly questionable. So, for starters, any of the laser-dodging feats used without question are ones without any outlying problems. But the ones that do, I'll be going over individually, going off the criteria on VSBW for laser dodging feats.

Lego Spider-Man avoided a laser
They aren't called lasers by name for one, and they also explicitly show force.

Lego Captains America dodged numerous lasers
While they are called lasers and are straight lines, they very consistently display force and broke off a mirror instead of bouncing off it.

Lego Black Panther dodged several lasers
They don't act like, nor look like lasers and break apart an Earth statue forcefully.

Are they really Planetary?

A very questionable set of Planetary feats that Lego Iron Man and Batman could scale to with their more powerful stuff exist and I think it'd be good to address them both on their own.

Lego Iron Man scaling to Lego Galactus
So Lego Iron Man has the Hulkbuster which should be roughly equivalent in power to Lego Hulk and Thor, whom were able to injure Lego Galactus, and Lego Thing, who straight up knocked him out. Lego Galactus is a character with a couple Planetary statements. Whilst it's entirely fair to say Lego Galactus should be at this power level, as it's a huge part of his character that he can eat planets, it comes more into question whether any of the other characters should scale to it. I mean, they have injured and knocked out Galactus, so that should be solid proof right? Well, the problem is that this directly contradicts what we see earlier in the Lego Marvel Superheroes story, where a group of superheroes, including Thor and Thing, are unable to get Galactus to flinch. So what it's just an outliar? Actually, no, there is a pretty solid reasoning for this. That being that the times they injure Galactus differ from the time they don't. That being in the fact that Galactus is shown to be much smaller when fighting them on the Helicarrier, and in New York, than he is at his more typical planet-eating size. Which makes sense considering he can change his size to his pleasing. Due to this, it means that he is simply weaker at smaller sizes rather than being at planet-eating level all the time. No Planet-Level Lego Iron Man sadly.

Lego Batman scaling to Superman
This one is much easier. Yeah this is pretty valid. While Lego Batman is not regularly at Lego Superman's level, he has an armor that is blatantly stated to put him there. It also has shown once to withstand a laser blast from Lego Superman which helps its case. Unlike Lego Iron Man, there is no scaling chain here, nor any outliars that contradict it. So by all means this is fair game (for his Armored Suit anyway).

Massively FTL+ Lego Superman (and Massively FTL Lego Batwing)

This is talking about two seperate feats, one being the lower Massively FTL feat where Lego Batman's Batwing, alongside Lego Superman, and Lego Guy Gardner, fly to a different planet. And the other being the higher Massively FTL+ feat where Lego Superman flew past our Solar System.
The first is a solid "yes" as not only does the calc use the smallest possible distance from Earth to a planet out of our solar system, being (3784e+16 meters) but it also uses a pretty fair timeframe of 86400 seconds (24 hours). Both of which are logical, because Bizarroo's world is one that you have to leave our Solar System to get to, and there is no reason to believe Lego Batman would spend an extremely long amount of time without food nor water on a flight for Bizarro. While this obviously scales to the Batwing itself, I'd argue you could go further and scale this to his reactions as well. While it isn't particularly consistent with anything, it also doesn't contradict anything either. And it would explain how he'd be able to not run into any objects or team members during trip, and react to the destruction of the Batwing in tandem with everything else that was happening.
The second is a "no" unfortunately. While it isn't in question that Lego Batman's Batwing would scale to Lego Superman's speed, the timeframe is too ambiguous to get down solidly, and you'd likely end up having to make the same concessions the other feat did to not wank it. Which would make it either the same speed or lower.

Universal Lego Darkseid?

While I really didn't feel the need to address any other rejected Lego DC feats from Blogator Blogs' Lego Adaptation Battle Royale Blog, such as Lego Batman's "not-reacting" immeasurable feat, and Lego Brainiac's "shrinking doesn't apply to AP" feat, this scaling chain in particular is one I felt the need to address myself due to having my own take on it.
Blognator Blogs' blog communicates two main points that'd I'd like to cover. That being that the statements are vague and Lego Darkseid doesn't destroy the universe.
Too Vague?
This point is understandable but disagreeable to me. It is said that the universe could be controlled, doomed, and would fall if he got it. While the wording "controlled" may seem more inconsistent with everything else, creating this vagueness, I actually think it supports it being a AP amp rather than Hax. Lego Cyborg says that it could control the Planet, possibly even the Universe. If it was a hax, it'd be more likely he'd be sure of its capability if he knew its affects. Whilst if it was an AP metric, then it'd likely be much less clear. If this is him talking about its range, then it controlling things on a universal range could still indicate that his AP would allow him to cover this range rather than it being a much smaller amount of power at that range, which wouldn't pose too much of a threat depending on context. So IMO it isn't too vague to where it cannot be considered Universal AP AMP.
Lego Darkseid doesn't destroy the Universe?
This one is actually more easily explainable oddly enough. While yes, Lego Darkseid gets the Anti-Life Equation and didn't destroy the Universe, this can pretty easily be chalked up to his ego. He views them as "insignificant specks", so it is very likely he did not feel the need to try against them thinking he could beat them with no difficulty. Could this be considered kinda weirdly idiotic? Maybe, but ego can clouds ones judgement, so it's more plausible he simply didn't want to admit to himself he wasn't as much stronger than them as he thought he was.

Okay so I believe in Universal Lego Darkseid (with the Anti-Life Equation), so does that mean I believe in Universal Lego Batman? Actually, no.
You see, while yeah, Lego Gorilla Grodd, who is below Lego Batman in power, did harm Lego Darkseid, there isn't any indication that the Anti-Life Equation buffed his durability. Infact, Lego Gorilla Grodd hurting him serves as evidence against it, as it'd be a huge outliar for everyone else, and would put into question why they feared Darkseid's Universal power to begin with. We may know that the Anti-Life Equation gives him Universal AP, but absolutely nothing says he'd be able to physically withstand that level of power. It's more likely he'd survive via some form of immortality or through his boom tubes rather than anything else.

TLDR: Yes for Lego Darkseid, no for anyone else.

Verdicts

Stats

A lot of different factors here, so I I'll go over low ends, high ends, and, for strength & durability specifically; their maximum strength with their strongest stuff.
Strength & Durability
For low ends, Lego Iron Man gets around those Building-Town Level ends, likely capping at Large Town (451.8 kilotons of tnt). Lego Batman gets most consistently around Building-City Block Level, but at absolute maximum he gets as high as Large Town Level (292.1 kilotons of tnt). So Lego Iron Man takes low ends by 1.5x. For high ends, Lego Iron Man is at those Large Mountain-Island Level ends via Lego Venom scaling (6.8 gigatons of tnt). Lego Batman gets to Mountain Level solidly, but can cap out at Country Level (64.5 teratons of tnt). This is significantly more than Lego Iron Man, a difference of well over 9400x. It's only downhill for Lego Tony from here though, as, with their strongest equipment (The Hulkbuster and Armored Suit respectively) Lego Iron Man would be even more heavily outclassed. Even if you think that the Lego Thor Sokovia feat should be allowed, it'd only be 163.4 gigatons of tnt. This is nothing in comparison to the Armored Suit's scaling to Lego Superman, which would put it in the Planetary-Large Planetary range (1.1-27.8 yottatons of tnt). That's a difference so insane it's in the QUADRILLIONS. And that's being generous. Even if you amped Lego Iron Man further with the power stone, Lego Batman has critical hits, the scale keystone, and other ways of increasing his strength more than Lego Iron Man. While yes, Lego Batman's Armored Suit only applies to durability, even without it he'd still be above Lego Iron Man. Safe to say that overall, Lego Batman takes strength.
Speed
At their low ends, both are relative, with speed ranging from Subsonic-Supersonic, capping at 384.16 m/s. At high ends both are just about as relative, having several Relativistic-Speed Of Light feats that make them comparable....except for one feat. Lego Batman's 1460.88c feat. Not only would it make it Batwing significantly faster than Lego Iron Man's flight speed, but also would buff his reactions to far past Lego Iron Man's, making it much harder to be thrown off, even if Lego Iron Man was using the Mark-40. Lego Batman takes speed.

Skill & IQ

This one is pretty close. In terms of IQ, both are inventive creators, shown through their galleries of self-made gagdets and suits. They're both also some of the smartest men in their worlds, being literal geniuses. Although, Lego Iron Man  has the edge in terms of technological prowess, as his armors are generally more complex, and his repairing skills beat out Lego Batman's bomb-defusing skills, as they both even out in hacking. You could consider this as a straight win for Lego Iron Man in terms of IQ, but it is still notable that a lot of Lego Batman's intelligence comes from a combination of his detective, analyzing, and, most importantly to the fight, combat skills. Lego Iron Man is not a slouch in combat, but he simply does not compare to Lego Batman's literal years of initial martial arts training, on top of further decades of more formal crime fighting experience. My conclusion from this is that both are skillful and intelligent in their own right, which means this category is a tie. Lego Iron Man & Lego Batman Tie For Skill & IQ.

Abilities

Both of these guys actually share a good quanity of their abilities. Impressively resistant Lego physiologies, fourth-wall awareness, and, most importantly Respawning. Their respawns are essentially both of their leashes on life, as they can infinitely keep them from death. Although, Lego Iron Man's is quite a bit more potent, as it doesn't just keep him from physical death, but soul death as well. Meaning, unlike Lego Batman, you can't get past his respawn by attacking his soul. That being said, Lego Batman beats him out in versatility. Lego Iron Man's only exclusive ability is his paint manipulation, which is entirely useless here. Meanwhile, Lego Batman not only has massively better and faster building capabilities through master-building, but has stuff like detect to keep constant eyes on Lego Iron Man, teleportation to get himself out of harms way, and, best of all, the Forbidden Move, which would bypass Lego Iron Man's respawning. Which is Lego Iron Man's best ability. Not only that, it'd leave Lego Iron Man significantly less capabale of using his tech, and unlikely to be able to use any of his abilities. Whilst Lego Iron Man definitely isn't lacking in abilities, it's clear has day that he does not take the category over Lego Bruce. Lego Batman Takes Abilities.

Equipment

The most obvious thing to compare first is Lego Iron Man's Armors vs. Lego Batman's Suits. The armor's solidly take this though. While most of Lego Batman's Batsuits are one offs, not having much versatility outside their niche use, Lego Iron Man's armors are all near identical to his main armors while still having their own use case. They carry over the scanning, lasers, rockets, ect. Meanwhile the only thing Lego Batman's suits carry over is his Utility-Belt. Not bad, but bar for bar the average armor is more useful and better than the average suit. That's not to say Lego Batman's suits are useless, as they can pose their own counters to Lego Tony's armors (Scanning from his standard or sensor would counter Mark-16 invisibility, and his electricity suit would be able to withstand the tazer armor), but the problem is that Lego Iron Man could do the same....through one armor (His standard armor has built in scanning and electricity resistance, so there'd be no need to swap armors unless it was destroyed, in which he'd have 50 more armors with the same capacity to fall back on). Speaking on the Utility-Belt mentioned just earlier, you may be curious on how much it'd help Lego Batman. It has tons of gadgets right? Sadly, none of what it has is all that useful. Stuff like his batarangs would only pose as a momentary distraction, and his grapple hook would just be a lesser form of air movement, for example. Neither's vehicles are all that capable of doing much outside of what they could do on their own, with the exception on Lego Batman's DeLorean and TARDIS. They both would let him travel space and time to not only hide out in the past or future if needed, but also take down Lego Iron Man before the fight even starts, as the DeLorean and TARDIS can both change the future with their time travel shenanigans. That being said, with the time stone, Lego Iron Man could likely also do similar if not the same with more ease. The Infinity Stones, in general are very useful, letting Lego Iron Man control time, warp reality (including turning Lego Batman into an inanimate object), and even remove Lego Batman's soul. All serving as very solid wincons around Lego Batman's respawn. Lego Batman still has more stuff to show off in that respect besides the DeLorean and TARDIS, as a variation of the Ghost Trap could entrap Lego Iron Man and the Phantom Zone Projector could send Lego Iron Man to the Phantom Zone....right? Well unfortunately for Lego Batman both of these likely wouldn't really work. Lego Iron Man could probably just teleport himself out of the projector with the space stone/cosmic cube (or even possibly just respawn since it debatablely kills those it sucks up) and the Phantom Zone Projector blatantly does not work on heroes. No reason to believe it would work on Lego Iron Man besides him being somewhat troubled. While theoretically Lego Batman could summon something with the Locate Keystone potent enough to win him the fight, it has been pretty well indicated that Lego Batman doesn't know how to control what comes out of it. So as a whole, Lego Iron Man's arsenal is simply more useful and impactful than Lego Batman's. Lego Iron Man Takes Equipment.

Conclusion

Lego Iron Man

Advantages:
  • +Stronger at low ends...
  • +Slightly smarter
  • +Technically better fourth-wall awareness and respawn
  • +His armors are resistant to most of what Lego Batman can throw at him equipment wise
  • +Infinity Stones provide multiple means of getting past Lego Batman's respawn
  • +His heroicness and space stone mean he cannot be BFR'D by Lego Batman
Equal:
  • =Speed at most ends
  • =Can respawn
  • =Resistant Lego Physiology
  • =Time travel
Disadvantages:
  • -...but unfathomably weaker at high ends and with their best stuff
  • -At their highest ends is over a thousand times slower
  • -Worse fighter
  • -Less experienced
  • -No counter to the Forbidden Move besides trying to dodge or shield from it

Lego Batman

Advantages:
  • +Stronger in high ends and stonewalls with tech...
  • +Much faster at highest ends
  • +Much better fighter and more experience
  • +The Forbidden Move can somewhat get around respawn
  • +Generally more varied and better abilities
  • +Better form of building (master building)
  • +Could resist the effects of the mind stone
Equal:
  • =Speed at most ends
  • =Can respawn
  • =Resistant Lego Physiology
  • =Time travel
Disadvantages:
  • -...but weaker at their low ends
  • -Slightly less intelligent
  • -His arsenal is quite inferior in comparison to Lego Iron Man's
  • -No counter to the Infinity Stones (outside the Mind Stone)
  • -Can't BFR Lego Iron Man

Conclusion

This really does come down to the wire. But the way I understood it, was who would have an easier time pulling off their wincons. And I must say, surprisingly, Lego Iron Man barely wins out. The Forbidden Move may allow Lego Batman to disable Lego Iron Man physically, but it isn't lethal in any capacity. So Lego Iron Man could still pull off any of his wincons via his drones (with Lego Batman left with not really any consistent easy way to hack them). Sure he also has time travel, but so does Lego Iron Man so it isn't really a true wincon. Meanwhile Lego Iron Man could end the fight by using any manor of the Infinity Stones' capabilities. Like turning Lego Batman into a chicken with the Cosmic Cube/Space Stone, or simply removing his soul passively with the Soul Stone. So while Lego Batman struggles to keep Lego Iron Man down, Lego Iron Man can pull off one of his several wincons to secure the ultimate dub.

The Winner Is...
